PRIVACY · UPDATED 13 AUGUST 2026

A plain-language privacy notice.

Information we receive

We receive the name, work email, role, company details, public links, country, portfolio size, readiness answers and notes you submit through the qualification form. If you join the update list, we also keep your email address and current subscription status. If you ask a scope question, we keep the contact details and question you submit.

Why we use it

We use qualification information to check scope and prepare a proposal. If a scope is later agreed, we use separately requested records to provide the service. We use consultation details to answer your question and update-list addresses only for FactThread email updates. We do not sell this information.

The website scope check

The three-question homepage check runs in your browser and does not store its answers. The written qualification form stores the business facts you submit but does not accept files or payment. Product records are requested only through a separate case-specific secure link after scope, agreement and payment are confirmed.

Website measurement

We use limited first-party measurement to understand whether a visit reaches the synthetic sample, a call-to-action or a successful inquiry. We record the event type, page, button context, optional campaign labels, time and a short-lived session identifier kept in your browser tab. We use no advertising cookies or email-open pixels, and form answers are not included in these events. A one-way daily network identifier may be used only to limit abuse and is not stored with the event. If the event database is briefly unavailable, the same limited event waits in private object storage until a later request records it.

Service providers and location

Hosting, private file storage, email, security and authorized business-workspace providers process data needed to deliver the website and service. A structured customer-operations copy may be stored in FactThread's restricted Feishu workspace; uploaded source files are not copied into that customer table. Providers may process data in more than one country. FactThread currently operates from Shenzhen, China.

Retention

We keep subscription records until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep qualification details while we assess or discuss scope. Case-specific uploaded files are retained while we deliver the agreed work and then reviewed for deletion when no longer needed. Security, dispute or legal requirements may require a longer period.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct or delete inquiry information, or object to further commercial contact, by emailing privacy@getfactthread.com. You can also unsubscribe through the email settings form.

File protection

The public qualification form cannot upload files. Files later accepted through an approved case link stay in private object storage and do not receive public download links. Access requires the authorized FactThread review account. We restrict file type and size, but you remain responsible for confirming that you have authority to share each record.
